Maple Finance, the leading institutional on-chain capital marketplace, is pleased to announce its official launch on Base, the innovative Layer 2 blockchain incubated by Coinbase Technologies, Inc. (“Coinbase”). This marks a significant milestone for institutional users who can now seamlessly access the world of on-chain capital markets.
Maple's integration with Base will provide institutional grade fixed income opportunities within a seamlessly integrated technology stack. At launch, Maple will make its Cash Management opportunity, managed by Room40 Capital, available for qualified users to access short duration US Treasury yields. Over time, the Maple platform will introduce exclusive structured and private credit opportunities, grounded in institutional grade underwriting, on-chain security, and sourced from tier-1 institutional counterparties. Traditional institutional debt capital markets will become connected with on-chain financial markets to push the world further into open financial systems.
