Maple, the leading onchain asset manager with $3.8 billion AUM, today announced an integration with Ink. The integration will expand access to Maple’s dollar-yield product syrupUSDT across Ink-native DeFi applications. The launch significatly increases Maple’s distribution, bringing institutional-grade, sustainable yield to a global base of more than 10 million retail and professional users while establishing syrupUSDT as a core yield asset within the Ink ecosystem.

The launch enables a seamless bridge between asset managers and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, bringing Maple’s onchain asset management capabilities directly into broader onchain financial infrastructure.

Delivering high-quality onchain yield to the Ink ecosystem

The need for composable, high-quality yield assets across the Ink ecosystem has never been greater. This integration with Maple will allow users to:

· Earn Base Yield: Access competitive APYs on syrupUSDT directly within the Ink ecosystem.

· Leverage Yield Strategies: Utilize Maple’s asset across Ink-native applications to build sophisticated onchain financial strategies.

· Simplify Access: Benefit from more seamless access to institutional-grade yield opportunities through onchain applications built on Ink.

A Strategic Leap for Onchain Finance

"Ink represents a massive opportunity for the industry, and we're excited to be among the first to bring institutional-grade yield to its ecosystem," said Sid Powell, CEO and Co-Founder of Maple. "By bringing syrupUSDT to Ink, we are ensuring that the next wave of users have access to the most transparent and scalable yield sources available. This is a cornerstone of our strategy at Maple, to integrate with leading fintechs and onchain platforms and offer institutional yield at consumer scale."

“For the next generation of onchain applications to scale, they need access to high-quality, sustainable yield assets. Bringing Maple’s syrupUSDT to the Ink network expands the range of yield opportunities available across our ecosystem,” said Regan OMalley, Developer Relations Lead at the Ink Foundation. “Together, we are showing that crypto can be easier to use and offer a better product experience than what is available through traditional venues.”

Maple’s Syrup Asset Goes Live on Ink: Liquidity and Incentives

The deployment of syrupUSDT on the Ink network will launch on May 13. Users can expect immediate access to liquidity on Ink-native apps, such as lending and borrowing protocol Tydro.
